For Grantees

Applying for a Pro Bono Grant from the American College of Bankruptcy Foundation

The American College of Bankruptcy Foundation (the “Foundation”) awards grants to legal services organizations whose activities are consistent with the objectives of the mission of the Foundation. Grant awards are made by the Foundation’s Pro Bono Committee (the “Committee”).

Before Applying for a Grant

Please take a few minutes to look through our compilation of Pro Bono Resources. Select past grant recipients have made their electronic materials available to organizations providing pro bono legal services. Agencies received funds from the American College of Bankruptcy to create materials to aid pro bono attorneys in providing much needed bankruptcy assistance to low income debtors.

2025 Pro Bono Grant Applications will be due May 15, 2025

Please check back in early 2025 for the 2025 Pro Bono and DEI Grant Applications.  APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE MAY 15, 2025

Stretto has graciously agreed to provide grant applicants whose grant requests are approved by the ACBF Pro Bono Committee with a 50% discount on the initial purchase of its BestCase Software.  Please contact Jenny Cudahy at jcudahy@acbfoundation.com with any questions.
