The DEI Excellence Award
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Excellence Award was established by the College's Board of Directors in 2022 to recognize "demonstrated extraordinary commitment to and achievements realized in diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives by one or more individuals or an organization." Nominees may be a current or former Fellow of the College, or any other deserving individual or organization.
2024 DEI Excellence Award
At its September 2024 meetings in Seattle, Washington, Judge Smith presented the annual DEI Excellence Award to the City Bar Justice Center (Justice Center), a pro bono legal services adjunct of the Bar Association of the City of New York. Ramona Morel, Director of the Consumer Bankruptcy project, accepted the award on their behalf.
2023 DEI Excellence Award
